Meet Linnaea

Your body holds deep wisdom. Trust in it. Learn from it. Nourish it. Watch your life transform and be healthy.
— Bella Bleue

Linnaea has had a passion for understanding how the body operates since she was a young girl. This passion has driven her to explore unorthodox perspectives and alternatives to interventions associated with traditional symptom maintenance. Linnaea is certified as a Bowen practitioner through the American Bowen Academy, and has studied with Graham Pennington, the author of the Textbook of Bowen Technique.  Bowen is a soft-tissue modality that focuses on postural alignment and balancing the nervous system. She has also taken additional classes in small animal and equine Bowen. Linnaea has an extensive background in nursing/wellness education, caregiving, and client care coordination.  She has had an active practice since October 2015, previously under the name Elan Vital Bowenwork.  In 2016 she formed a business partnership with Tamara under the name of Transformative Wellness, and in 2018 Transformative Wellness became Rianda Wellness.

She is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute’s Massage Therapy and Health Education Program.  This includes 900 hours of education in the following modalities: Zen Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Energy Healing, Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Myofascial Therapy, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Stretching, Deep Tissue, and Swedish Massage.

Linnaea was previously a Certified Fitness Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).  She has experience helping clients create personalized nutritional plans and assisted them in developing fitness and stretching routines that support their physical health and wellbeing.

She especially enjoys empowering women who are survivors of trauma take back their bodies, as well as their stories.

She has been apprenticing in energy healing, trauma studies, life coaching, and philosophy with Tamara Rianda since early 2016.  She has also received her certification as an Adept in an energy healing modality based on traditional Toltec teachings. Linnaea originally found complementary and holistic modalities while suffering from: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and chronic headaches/migraines.   She tried everything she could, including medication regimens, physical therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care with little effect. She was introduced to the Bowen technique as a client and found some relief for herself.

She also discovered a deep love for neuro-physiology and the profound impact of trauma (via extended activations of the fight-flight-freeze response) on the body.  This step into conditioning and supporting the nervous system, coupled with Tamara's work, has banished the presence of these illnesses from her everyday life. While one's wellness journey is never truly complete, she has experienced a quality of life that at one point she thought was impossible to obtain.  Through this work, she was also able to get pregnant after previous fertility issues and navigate both pregnancy and a successful home birth with vibrancy and health.

Linnaea is knowledgeable, focused, and observant while assessing her clients for the best solutions to their specific needs.  She tailors each session and care plan to her client’s individual needs, making her work stand out from other more “cookie cutter approaches.”  She is committed to helping her clients uncover the root problem and supporting each client in achieving their highest quality of life. She is a nurturing, calm, and caring presence for her clients during the session, and her quality of touch reflects this compassion.  She is an expert at what she does, having synthesized her training into her own bodywork modality, NeuroTune Body Therapy

In her private life, Linnaea is wildly passionate about natural medicine and herbalism.  She is an amateur herbalist and has studied plants, wild harvested herbs, and their uses in the body.  She previously released these under The Organic Botanical Shop and will be bringing them back soon.

Spending time enjoying Motherhood with Tamara and their daughter is one of the most fulfilling things that she’s ever done. Her favorite thing right now is experiencing all of the new adventures through her daughter’s eyes.

HOLISTIC HEALTH

Tamara is a gifted spiritual teacher, an avid learner, and student of life.  She has spent countless hours studying philosophy, psychology, sociology, esoteric texts, mythology, anthropology, theology, quantum physics, and holistic health and wellness.

Her journey into the field of holistic health began in much the same way that many others’ have, from a desire to heal herself.  After her health was negatively impacted by a medical mishap, she was told that she was "too sensitive" for most traditional western medical interventions and that she should seek "alternative" treatment or learn to accept her new reality and limitations.  Taking control of her own prognosis, Tamara has undergone an extraordinary journey into wellness that she strives to share with others.

Having healed and reversed numerous medical conditions through various holistic health and wellness approaches, she is convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that we all have the power to heal!  She believes that our ability to heal is part of our innate nature and that we live in an intelligent universe that is lovingly moving us toward wholeness and wellbeing.

Since 2011 Tamara has trained and apprenticed with holistic health and wellness experts, healers, esoteric practitioners, and spiritual teachers from around the world.  She has taken many psychic/intuitive development trainings and classes, including attending in-person intensive mediumship seminars with James Van Praagh and Mavis Pittilla. She has also taken additional courses and trainings in: tarot reading, astrology, rune reading, numerology, tea leaf reading, dream interpretation, sound healing, mindfulness, meditation, breath-work (Pranayama), and yoga.

Tamara is a gifted energy and crystal healer.  She is a Reiki Master/Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho style and a Certified Practitioner in Karuna Reiki.  She is also a Certified Pranic Healer and an Adept in traditional Toltec teachings and energy healing.  In addition, she is a Certified Crystal Healer (CCH) through the Love and Light School of Crystal Healing. She has also personally mentored with practitioners from various schools of thought and lineages of energy medicine, including indigenous elders from North and South America and Asia. Although, she is certified in numerous energy healing modalities, Tamara has synthesized her understanding of this art and practice into a dynamic representation of universal Truth, integrity, and personal sovereignty.

Tamara is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute Massage Therapy and Health Education program where she received 900 hours of training.  She has been taught various modalities of touch including: Zen Shiatsu, Rocking and Shaking, Stretching, Thai, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, and Myofascial Therapy.

Tamara has had the pleasure of teaching workshops and classes on holistic health and wellbeing throughout the state of California, in Anchorage, Alaska (at the Whole Life Festival), and various virtual platforms. She started Transformative Wellness in 2016 with Linnaea Rianda, while living in Northern California. In 2018 she brought her expertise to Southern California and Transformative Wellness became Rianda Wellness.

Tamara’s work has been described as having a profound influence on her clients’ lives by creating lasting shifts in their perception and manifestation of reality, health, and wellbeing.  She works with her clients’ higher-selves and personal intentions to assist her in directing each session according to her clients’ free-will. She holds the utmost integrity and authenticity throughout her sessions, while also respecting a client’s individual life path and choices.  She believes in empowering her clients by dynamically teaching them a process of self-evaluation and healing that allows them to continue the work long after the session has ended.

Tamara’s approach to health and wellbeing starts with role modeling the embodied characteristics of wellbeing to her clients so that they learn to deeply access the unconscious mind (shadow/ego self/ and inner child) and begin to harmonize and integrate it with their higher-self.  She recognizes that we all have inherent value and worth, and helps us to release the illusion of separation. This results in a shift of consciousness beyond the trauma and victim/perpetrator aspect of duality into unity and wholeness.

Tamara believes in the importance of positive thought, while also understanding that positive thoughts are the natural result of the process of integrating the shadow self and releasing unconscious memories, beliefs, emotions, habits, and patterns trapped in our cellular and spiritual memory.  She understands that personal growth is a reflection of our evolution toward health and wellbeing as it is occurring. She is aware that change can be uncomfortable, which is why real change can’t be rushed or faked.

Her sessions are gentle, yet confronting, because she knows that healing often means having a willingness to step into the realm of uncertainty and unlimited possibility.  She encourages her clients to take personal responsibility and accountability for their own creation of reality while embodying compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude for themselves along the way.

Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.
